Uruguayan Beef Oxtails — Specifications
Frigorífico Pando exports beef oxtails from grass-fed Hereford and Angus cattle — a collagen-rich, intensely flavourful by-product cut with strong global demand. Oxtail is a staple in Chinese red-braised preparations, Korean oxtail soup (kkori-gomtang), Caribbean stew, and West African cuisine.
Our oxtails are cross-cut into sections (typically 3–5 cm), vacuum-packed, and blast-frozen at −18°C. Available in FCL quantities (typically 18–20 mt per 40' reefer container). Consistently available throughout the year as a complement to our primary beef programme. Halal-certified product available with per-shipment religious documentation.
USDA Establishment 439 documentation available for U.S.-bound containers. EU health mark documentation available for European buyers. China-registered for direct import to the Chinese market. Oxtails from grass-fed Uruguayan cattle command a quality premium over Brazilian and Argentine product in discerning Asian markets.
