Uruguayan Beef Cuadril — Rump Cap — Specifications
The cuadril is the quintessential Uruguayan export cut — a rump cap with an intact fat cover that self-bastes during grilling, producing a rich, charred exterior and a juicy, flavour-packed interior. Known as tapa de cuadril in Río de la Plata and rump cap internationally, it occupies a premium position in South American, Chinese and Korean import markets.
Frigorífico Pando's cuadril is sourced from Hereford and Angus cattle finished on Uruguay's natural pampas pastures — never administered hormones, never grain-finished. Available whole with fat cap intact (key for grilling markets), trimmed boneless, or portioned to spec. Chilled air-freight or reefer-frozen.
Each unit is vacuum-packed and fully traceable via Uruguay's SNIG national individual-animal system. USDA establishment documentation, Halal certificates, and EU health marks issued per container. Custom labelling, inner-pack weights, and retail-ready portions available on request.
